Point-In-Time Count

Assist the Collaborative Applicant with the annual Point-In-Time Count of homeless persons in Macomb County. This could involve planning and coordination, volunteer recruitment and training, and data collection and management.

Coordinated Entry Systems

Oversees the implementation and operation of the coordinated entry system, which is designed to streamline access to housing and services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Key responsibilities are system design, policy development, training, and data management and monitoring.

Grant Ranking & Compliance

Responsible for evaluating, prioritizing, and monitoring grant applications and funded projects to ensure they meet specific standards and requirements. This committee ensures grant funds are awarded to the most deserving projects and that these projects are managed effectively and in compliance with all regulations.

HMIS & Data Quality

Responsible for overseeing and managing the integrity of data related to homelessness within Macomb County. This committee ensures HMIS meets federal and local standards, and those participating agencies involved are using the system properly per data quality protocols. Thorough data analysis, reporting, and implementation of data sharing and privacy protections are in place.

CoC Equity Results Team (CERT)

This committee promotes and ensures equity within the homeless response system ensuring equal access to housing and services. This team identifies and addresses disparities in access, services, and outcomes for those experiencing homelessness. Key aspects include assessment, policy development, training and education, community engagement and monitoring initiatives.

Awareness & Advocacy

The purpose of this committee is to raise public awareness about homelessness and advocate for policies and resources to positively impact the community. The goal is to foster a supportive community environment and influence all community stakeholders to enact policy changes that contribute to ending homelessness.

Landlord Engagement

This committee strives to build and maintain positive relationships with landlords and property managers to secure housing options for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Key components are outreach and recruitment, education and training, resource development and supporting a beneficial relationship with landlords to support the community.
