FY26/27 Emergency Solutions Grant Funding Competition

FY 2026–2027 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Local Funding Competition

The Macomb County Continuum of Care (MI-503) is pleased to announce the opening of the FY 2026–2027 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Local Funding Competition. Through this competition, the Macomb County CoC is seeking proposals for funding under the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) Emergency Solutions Grant program. ESG funding is intended to address the urgent needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness or who are at imminent risk of homelessness. Applications must be completed by Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 4 pm. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Approved agencies will be notified by Friday, July 24, 2026, and required to submit supporting documents to the Fiduciary no later than Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 4 pm.

ABOUT US

The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed to promote communitywide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, and State and local governments to quickly rehouse homeless individuals and families while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused to homeless individuals, families, and communities by homelessness; promote access to and effect utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and optimize self-sufficiency among individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
